The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons is the regulatory body for veterinary surgeons in the UK and deals with issues of professional misconduct, maintaining the register of veterinary surgeons eligible to practise in the UK and assuring standards of veterinary education.

It also has a "Royal College" role, which means that it is responsible for postgraduate educational and veterinary nursing qualifications, and veterinary nursing registration.
This is the place to look for the latest College activities that impact on practice managers: from the new requirement for veterinary practice premises registration, through the Professional Development Phase, to knowing where to check online to make sure your vets and VNs are properly registered.
Further information is available at RCVSonline.
