DJ Zoe Ball to open Southwick vet clinic

Sussex-based Grove Lodge Vets is inviting people to bring their four legged friends to celebrate the opening of its purpose built vet clinic in Southwick, West Sussex. Local celebrity Zoe Ball, will be cutting the red ribbon.

Sussex-based Grove Lodge Vets is inviting people to bring their four legged friends to celebrate the opening of its brand new purpose built vet clinic in Southwick, West Sussex.

The group of local vet clinics, who pride themselves on offering "the best most affordable veterinary care" have their headquarters at their state-of-the-art 24/7 animal hospital in Worthing with branches already established in Brighton, Lancing, Portslade, Tarring and Durrington.

Zoe Ball to officially open Grove Vet Clinic in Southwick, West Sussex.The new Southwick clinic, complete with operating theatre, cat only waiting room and car parking, will be manned by TV vet and author Marc Abraham.

He said: "I'm thrilled to be looking after the pets of Southwick and surrounding area. Sussex is well known for being ultra-pet friendly and I look forward to meeting and treating all the local pets at Grove Lodge Southwick."

The grand opening party will take place on June 16 at the new premises on Southwick Street, with fun for all the family, including a free barbecue and refreshments, a special doggy ice cream parlour supplied by Billy + Margot, face painting, a display from assistance dog charity Canine Partners, and more.

Marc will also be conducting guided tours of the new clinic.

Cutting the red ribbon will be local celebrity Zoe Ball, who is well known for presenting the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show between 1997 and 2000, appearing on BBC1's "Strictly Come Dancing", presenting her numerous shows on BBC Radio 2 and for her earlier work presenting the 1990s children's show, Live & Kicking.
