Alstoe launches Easeflex PLUS chews

Pet owners are becoming increasingly demanding and promoting joint health in their dogs can prove challenging as clients may not always understand that their dogs could be enduring the effects of stiff joints, claims Alstoe Animal Health.

The solution to the problem of dogs with stiff joints that need to maintain mobility has to be easy, uncomplicated and offer value for money – and with the number of different products and ingredients on offer, the task of choosing the right solution can be bewildering for all concerned.

Alstoe Animal Health has met this challenge by launching Easeflex PLUS chews for dogs, which in common with their other products, is designed for veterinary needs by offering "exceptional levels of palatability, high levels of key joint nutrients, premium quality ingredients and 'keep fresh' packaging".

Four years after the launch of the original Easeflex Chews (which remain available), Alstoe has made improvements to the formula, which now includes 500mg per chew of green lipped mussel (a well known source of Omega 3 PUFA's). The appearance and flavour of the chew has also been improved to enhance its appeal.

"To help practices explain the need to maintain mobility we have devised a fun range of marketing materials featuring Fizz the Easeflex dog and his two friends, Buzz and Scamp," explained Niall McFerran from Alstoe. "So, we suggest offering Easeflex PLUS to put fizz into a practice's joint health business."
