Top referral specialists bring expertise to central London

One of Europe's leading multi-specialist referral teams is bringing its expertise to the heart of London and is inviting interested parties to attend a launch event at the Institute of Physics on February 15, 2012.

Hertfordshire-based Davies Veterinary Specialists (DVS) claims its move into the capital will come as a "welcome relief" to London practices and their clients, as the new service is designed to overcome the difficulties of clients having to travel large distances to see a specialist.

According to DVS managing director Clive Elwood, an RCVS and European specialist in small animal medicine, the ability to access world class specialists in central London will save clients time and minimise their stress and anxiety.

Dr Elwood said: "As one of Europe's largest referral practices, we are delighted to be able to bring our services to the heart of London. We recognise that for many practices having access to top referral specialists in the centre of London will be of great benefit to them and their clients."

Andrew Prentis, owner of Hyde Park Veterinary Centre, said of the impending launch: "I think this is going to really raise veterinary standards in central London, and I think there's going to be a massive benefit to all veterinary practices in central London."

To celebrate the launch, DVS is to hold a launch evening at the Institute of Physics on February 15 (7pm), incorporating a CPD event entitled "Challenges in urology".

Dr Elwood said: "We hope that anyone who is interested will be able to join us for a drink, where they can meet our specialists and chat about how Davies London will work to strengthen the relationship between them and their clients."

The Davies London service will be available from February 27, 2012.
