BCF Technology's instructional videos, which demonstrate how to scan the small animal abdomen, have received a total of more than 10,000 views in the 4 months since they were launched.
The series of nine short videos, in which BCF's in-house vet Kimberly Palgrave explains how to scan the small animal abdomen, have proven very popular and received a lot of positive feedback.
The series sees Kimberly explain, in detail, everything from the scanner and probe through to the small animal abdomen and how to complete the exam.
Kimberly said: "I am delighted with the success of the Small Animal Ultrasound videos. At BCF we are committed to providing learning to the vet industry and it is great that so many vets have found these videos useful. We are already in the process of developing a further series of videos."
The videos have been produced in collaboration with The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, and BCF are very grateful for their assistance and technical expertise.
The videos are still available on the BCF website and vets and vet nurses can earn one hour of CPD by completing a short self-assessment quiz after watching the videos.
