Catriona Curtis has taken up her first role in industry with her appointment as field veterinary adviser (North) at Virbac Animal Health.
In this role, she will provide technical support to practices and offer advice on the company’s product range for both small and large animals. She reports to Chris Taylor, technical director at Virbac.
Miss Curtis graduated from the Royal (Dick) Veterinary School in 2004 and, after qualifying, worked initially in the Lake District and New Zealand. She started out in mixed practice but has worked in small animal practice for the last four years. A member of the SPVS Council, she is organising the Lancaster final year vet students seminar for 2012 and is a keen mountain biker and runner.
Of her appointment, she said: "I'm looking forward to getting to grips with my new role and to providing first class technical advice for vets which complements Virbac's already excellent reputation in practice."
